Superbowl weekend

This past weekend we went to Cedar City for the Superbowl. We have a friend (Shane) who hosts a great party every year. We haven't went the last few years because we went to a different friends' (Devin) party. It would be awesome if they would just combine the parties so we wouldn't have to choose which one to attend each year......but we could only wish!! (Also I personally think it would be waaaayyy to crowded)

There were lots of fun things we got to do. Aaron went snowmobiling with everyone Saturday afternoon while I went to a baby shower for a cousin. I think I got the bum end of that deal! He had lots and lots of fun. I probably had more fun being warm in St George (a toasty 62) then I would have up the mountain while everyone else took turns riding snowmobiles (envious sigh!)!

Sunday morning our bro-in-law, Chris, made us these totally awesome breakfast burritos! Just thinking of them makes me hungry! After that we went out shooting with a bunch of friends. It was windy and cold but still fun. We took our shotgun and shot clay pigeons. There was also an arsenal of other guns that we took turns shooting. One was this cute little handgun (sorry guys, I have no idea what model) that had a verrry sensitive trigger. The first time shot with it was kinda scary (I'm sure Aaron agrees, seriously me with a gun...not a good thing!!), and surprisingly loud. I want a hand gun now. The shotgun like always was the most fun. After Aaron got tired of shooting clay pigeons he destroyed a tv that someone had left. It didn't stand a chance!

I guess I should also mention we had to watch some stupid football game. Honestly who cares? It's just an excuse to get together with friends, eat a ton of great food and forget about work for awhile. Aaron, Shanae, Crystal, myself and a couple of other people played Settlers instead!! I didn't even know the game had ended, probably because the other team won and no one was cheering (almost everyone there was rooting for the Cardinals), until everyone started leaving. I will admit that it was entertaining watching that person who almost broke his neck making a TD for the Steelers. Dang he can run!! But that was the only worth while thing to watch...everything else was just football!!

To end our trip we met up with Shanae, her 2 kids and Shane at Brad's for lunch. It was a great end to a great weekend.
